Mills Solids: Built for Professional Growers and Licensed Producers

When growers at professional scale create small inconsistencies or make tiny mistakes, the margin for error is near non-existent. If the mix is off or the team gets the feed wrong, you might see uneven canopy development, varying nutrient uptake rates, changing EC, or the need for more pH correction. With LPs under pressure to produce for national and international markets, small mistakes can get expensive fast. That is where Mills Solids steps into the large-scale grow room.

Mills Solids is not here to replace the Mills liquid range. It is the tried-and-tested Mills nutrient system, scaled for licensed producers and professional growers working with larger rooms and tighter schedules. If you need every feed to follow the same logic across multiple rooms, Mills Solids is built for that.

The Mills Solids System

Mills Solids keeps the feed room simple so you can get complex with the growing. Solid Basis A and Solid Basis B are the foundation. Together, they give professional growers the base nutrition needed from veg to final feed. There’s no need to rebuild the nutrient schedule at every step.

Solid Basis A covers the nitrogen, calcium and magnesium side of the base, supporting early growth, plant structure and steady crop development. Solid Basis B brings phosphorus, potassium and chelated micronutrients, helping the crop take up what it needs as demand increases.

Then Solid Ignite comes in for the flowering stage.

Used from week 3 of flowering alongside Solid Basis A&B, Ignite is the concentrated bloom stimulator in the Mills Solids range. Dosing starts at 1 g per 10 L and increases to 6.5 g per 10 L later in bloom, according to the Mills growth schedule.

Built for Bigger Rooms and Cleaner Mixing

At LP scale, the feed room must run like part of the production line. Nobody wants a nutrient system that slows the team down or leaves too much room for interpretation.

The dry concentrated format of Mills Solids reduces bulk without moving away from the Mills method. That means you get everything that works about Mills, scaled up, but without needing half the building for storage.

The value in Mills Solids for professional growers is the repeatability factor; getting a great crop once is a neat trick, but doing it repeatedly has the genuine value pro growers and LPs crave. Mills Solid inputs can be weighed, logged, and mixed to the same standard every time. This helps maintain a consistent nutrient schedule across shifts, crop stages, and production cycles.

Scaled Up Performance

Mills Solids is designed for scale, but the basics stay the same. A stable base, available nutrition and a push at the right time.

That is why this system stays close to the Mills way of feeding. Solid Basis A&B provides the crop with a foundation from veg to final feed, while Ignite comes in during flower when the crop needs the push. This is not new thinking. It’s what we’ve always done, just scaled up to fit professional producers. For LPs, that matters because crop performance is not only about genetics. It is about how reliably nutrition reaches the plant. Consistent mixing, stable dosing and a clear nutrient schedule all support better nutrient uptake and more even flower formation across the room.

In bigger facilities, growers need everything that can be uniform to be uniform. One perfect plant or half a dozen big yielders won’t cut it. Mills Solids is made to get the best from your large set-ups, harvest after harvest.

Where Mills Solids Fits in Professional Cultivation

The main difference is format and scale. Mills Solids takes the Mills grow logic and puts it into a dry, concentrated system built for licensed producers. Solid Basis A&B gives the base. Ignite handles the bloom push from week 3 of flowering. The Mills Solids range follows the same principle Mills has always worked from: give the crop what it needs at the right stage of growth.

Mills Solids: Same Mills Logic, Built Bigger

There’s no room for guesswork when it comes to professional growing; it’s about process and timing and consistency is vital. Mills Solids is built on grower-led thinking, with a dry, concentrated format designed for professional cultivation. For LPs working with bigger rooms, tighter schedules and higher expectations, Mills Solids keeps the message straightforward: consistent feeding keeps the crop moving, harvest after harvest.
