The Mills Nutrients Additives line is for the two numbers all growers will learn about one way or another. pH and EC (electrical conductivity, the strength of your nutrient solution). When you see those numbers drift, that means your plants’ nutrient uptake is drifting with them. That is where these products earn their place.
Mills pH+ and Mills pH- are used to adjust the pH of your irrigation water (the feed water you give plants) through the whole grow cycle. Mills calls out target ranges of 5.5 to 6.0 for hydro and 6.0 to 6.5 for soil. Keeping pH within range helps the plant access the nutrients you are already paying for, rather than locking them out.
Mills CalMag is for water that starts too soft, or for grows where calcium and magnesium demand show up mid run. It is a concentrated CalMag product designed to address mineral deficiencies, support growth and vitality, and help to increase EC. It is especially relevant when running reverse osmosis (RO) water (filtered to remove minerals).
Mills pH+ adjusts and increases, pH through the grow cycle
Mills pH- adjusts and decreases, pH through the grow cycle
Mills CalMag supports calcium and magnesium levels, helps correct deficiencies, and increases EC.
Built for growers who mix nutrients regularly and want numbers that stay consistent

Mix your base nutrients first, then check your readings. Use a pH meter to measure pH, and an EC meter to measure solution strength.
If your pH is too high, add a small amount of Mills pH-, stir thoroughly, then check the reading again. If it reads too low, do the same with Mills pH+. Slow and steady wins the race. Don’t blast your plants with a single hit and hope it works. Be measured, Mills points to 5.5 to 6.0 for hydro and 6.0 to 6.5 for soil as the sweet spot.
Use Mills CalMag when your water is low in calcium and magnesium, or when you are using reverse osmosis (RO) water. Mills dosing guidance includes a prevention approach of 1 ml per 1 litre of water, used once per week, with pH set to 6.5 and no other additives.
