Establishment of research centre for cannabis

Delphy, along with well-known partners in the horticulture industry, has established a pioneering research centre that focuses on growing medical cannabis, called the Medical Cannabis Platform for Innovation and Research (MCPIR). The purpose of this five-year initiative is to investigate the most optimal cultivation methods for medicinal cannabis and create a blueprint for further professionalizing the cultivation process. What makes this project unique is that clients can obtain reliable information from a single platform, which was developed in a market-oriented research facility, making it an one-stop shop for licensed producers.

The companies involved in MCPIR offer technical expertise, including cultivation consultancy, ligthing strategies, climate control, fertilization, substrate, and natural pest and disease control. The platform offers two levels of participation – Founding Partner or Member – which provides access to facilities, expertise, and promotion. In addition to developing a cultivation blueprint, MCPIR also organizes events and training courses to share knowledge with stakeholders and other interested parties and participates in major international exhibitions.

The founding partners of MCPIR are Philips Horticulture LED Solutions by Signify, Koppert B.V., Paradise Seeds, Priva, Mills Nutrients & Substrates, and Delphy B.V.

The participating members are Brightlabs, Cannabis-drying.com, Can Filters, and Van Vliet / Newwen.

Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of this unique project! For more information or for inquiries on how to participate in this innovative platform, contact Jeroen van Buren, project coordinator of MCPIR
